LAY UPS FOR LOCAL INITIATIVE x STARGIVERS INITIATIVE:

We are holding a 3 on 3 basketball tournament at @campbellcollegiate on December 16 from noon till 3pm!

Students at Campbell Collegiate: $2 admission fee to MISS your afternoon class to watch the tournament!🤩 OR get a team of 5-6 together and sign up your team with Ms Repski or H

agman for $25 by December 14th to get to play! (*must be a MIXED team*)🏀

There will be a PRIZE!🏆

There will also be bins set up in front of the office at Campbell to donate items, so check that out!!!🗑

All proceeds from @stargiversinitiative will go towards our December Donation which will be a Food Hamper to community fridges😆⭐️

Partnered with our school, we have put bins for donations outside of the main office! Bring toys, nonperishable food, hygiene products, and/or winter clothing items!!!

Along with planning a big basketball tournament fundraiser, we are still continuing to bottle drive! Our team is working hard to fundraise as much as we can for our December food hamper donation which will be donated to our local community fridges!!! Stay tuned for this exciting week⭐️

LAYS UPS FOR LOCAL INITIATIVE X STARGIVERS INITIATIVE

Today, December 16, 2021, we held a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at @campbellcollegiate from noon until 3:20pm. We had 20 teams of 5-6 players sign up and hundreds of students attending as the audience! IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!⭐️

The winning team was Isaiah’s team and the runner up was Luka’s team! Congratulations!🎉

Thank you to all teams who played and everyone who came out to watch!💛💚 Big thank you to all the announcers, referees, and scorekeepers for their hard work.

Thank you to @thebeanbaryqr who let us run the canteen with them!!

Now, a very SPECIAL thank you to Ms. Repski and Ms. Hagman for helping us make all of this happen!💗

Big thank you to our @stargiversinitiative crew for their hard work today and the work behind the scenes!

We raised nearly $5000 from this fundraiser excluding all the item donations!!! Isn't that crazy?! WOW. We are absolutely in awe of the huge amount of support that our team got through this event. We had students and staff come up to our members thanking us for the event and for helping the community. This fundraiser was by far one of the best ways for us to raise awareness, get our word out, and create a strong bond between students and staff following such crazy years from the pandemic.
